Mt Buller and accommodation are an easy 3 hour drive from Melbourne, Mt Buller is Australia’s most accessible major snow ski resort.
High in the snowfields, the village is charming with quaint lodges luxurious hotels, and modern apartments positioned so you can ski to your front door. Accommodation in Mt Buller is on-snow and with over 7000 bed in the alpine village you’re spoilt for choice. Snowboarding
Snowboarding began in the '60s and started to gain widespread popularity in the late '80s. Today it's a sport for all ages and attitudes. Snowboarding is easy to learn and allows for a lot of expression making it very popular with the adventurous, relaxed and free-spirited. So, if you're looking for a new way to tackle the slopes grab a board and head for the slopes this winter.
Mt Buller Park
Rip it up at Mt Buller this winter in one of our awesome terrain parks. The resort's freeride facilities will again be one of the top features and a must do resort experiences this winter. Mt Buller Park - MBP - has something for everyone, whether you like to ride the rails, race on the rider cross course or pull some air off one of the huge summit jumps.
Sled Dog Tours
New to Mt Buller the season, Australian Sled Dog Tours caters for couples, adults and children, with tours running for 45 minutes throughout August and September. Tours include a meet and greet with the Huskies, a photo session and sled dog tour. Each sled allows for two to five people per tour. All tours also include information sessions on the tradition of sled dog racing and its history in Australia. Making the experience even more memorable, Australian Sled Dog Tours produce merchandise for guests to purchase including photos of Huskies, calendars, miniature model sled dog teams, along with Husky toy puppies and postcards.
Snow Play in a day Tour
If you only have one day free to explore Mt Buller, then join a Snow Play in a Day tour and see the best of what this world-class resort has to offer. The tour includes a dedicated guide and access to a great range of experiences, providing you with the most exciting and breathtaking way to enjoy the mountain. Tours depart at 10:30am every Saturday and Sunday between 21 June and 31 August with additional tours available for groups outside of this period (subject to availabiity).

Twilight Skiing
Twilight ski and snowboard under the stars every Wednesday and Saturday* from mid July and through August on Mt Buller's popular Bourke Street run. Watch the spectular sunset across the mountains as you ski down the slopes. Twilight skiing will run between 5.30pm and 8.30pm.
Culture & history

The Museum not only details Mt Buller’s journey but the development of Australia’s entire alpine history, with hundreds of fascinating artifacts telling the story of evolution of the Victorian ski fields.
The museum showcases wooden skis & sleds, leather boots, through to snowboards from the late 80s. It also features a variety of photographs, snowmobiles, clothing, badges, publications, maps and lift equipment.
