Hotham White Crystal Apartments are the perfect combination of luxury mountain top living and ski-in/ski-out positioning.

Hotham White Crystal Apartments offer overnight parking in the designated bays alongside the Great Alpine Rd starting beginning 1.8kms from Hotham Central. The free Village shuttle buses run each day of the ski season from the car parks and throughout the village.

Cancellation / Prepayment

PAYMENTS: Booking Fee – You must pay a non-refundable $50 booking fee on issue of the INVOICE/BOOKING. The booking fee becomes part of your holiday price when you pay the deposit. Deposit - Within 7 days of the INVOICE/BOOKING you must pay a minimum deposit of $200 per person for New Zealand, $600 per person for most other international destinations or 50% of the booking for Australia and some international destinations or the invoice becomes null and void. Final payment - You must pay the balance at least 60 days prior to departure. Early Bird Specials & airfares – These usually require an early full and final payment. You must pay these on the date We specify. Bookings within 60 days of travel – You must pay for these in full when your booking is confirmed. Non-payment –If you fail to make any payment We can cancel your booking and apply the cancellation terms below. Late booking fee - We may charge a late booking fee for bookings made 14 days or less before travel. You must pay any incidental costs of a late booking (e.g. courier costs). Payment through travel agent: If you book through an agent payment to your agent is not payment to Us. You remain liable until We receive payment from you or your agent.

CANCELLATIONS: Any cancellation request must be in writing and is only valid when We acknowledge receipt. . Regardless of whether travel has commenced, cancellations will incur charges. These can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking (including any taxes or incidental expenses). For International bookings Cancellation Fees will vary so please refer to your consultant. For Australian bookings, a min. fee of 15% of total booking will apply if cancelled outside of 60 days before travel date. If a booking is cancelled between 30 and 60 days of travel date a 50% fee applies and cancellations within 30 days of travel a 100% fee applies. See also REFUNDS below.
REFUNDS: Refunds can not normally be made on any unused portions or components of a booking nor can components be substituted for alternative arrangements. Any refund requests must be in writing and made through your booking agent (where applicable). Neither agents nor suppliers are entitled to offer refunds on Our behalf. Refunds (including refunds for cancellations) are only available if and when We receive funds from the relevant suppliers. The amount refunded is subject to deduction of booking commissions, cancellation charges, currency fluctuations and any costs incurred.

Hotham is the highest snow resort in Victoria and is unique in the fact that the village is on top of the mountain. Affectionately known as the ‘Powder Capital’, Hotham has 14 lifts and over 80 downhill runs, from gentle beginner slopes to advanced pitches that test the best, as well as an adult and children’s snowsports school that caters to all levels.

There is also a certified day care centre, plenty of shopping, restaurants and nightlife, not to mention kiteboarding, sunset tours, grooming tours and mini-Skidoo rides for the kids. A snow holiday at Hotham is also a chance to pamper with two-day spas offering beauty and therapy treatments, in addition to a hydro pool, Japanese Onsen and gymnasium at Dinner Plain.

Hotham Accommodation

Set against the stunning background it’s hard not to choose Hotham as the place to stay. Most accommodation options include chalets & apartments but if you’re after a motel style room both the Arlberg Hotel & Alpine Heights offer hotel rooms next to their apartments. Hotham apartment are often tastefully decorated with plenty of luxuries like spa baths, flat screen TV’s, ski storage and drying cupboards. Not all accommodation is situated on top of the hill with some chalets and houses situated down at Dinner Plain just a few minutes’ drive from Hotham Central. Dinner plain boats a fantastic day spa, restaurant, bar and general store for supplies.

Arco-Ski Lodge
Welcome to Arco Ski Lodge, Mount Hotham’s latest food and beverage addition. Located on level 1 of the iconic Jack Frost building, just across the walkway from the Davenport Village Lodges (just head for the big fairy lights in the trees and you’ve found us!).
We are a traditional, Bavarian Bier Hall serving big, hearty German meals of superb quality plus a large range of traditional Bavarian beverages, like our award-winning Arcobräu beers – available in in the giant 1-litre Stein as well as the 300ml and 500ml glass.
We also offer an outstanding range of spirits and of course, an abundance of Schnapps as well as traditional Isaperle soft drinks for the kids.

Culture & historyThe Mount Hotham Alpine Resort is set in a unique and extreme natural landscape, an environment that has largely shaped its European history, a history that unique to the region and the State.
It must be acknowledged that human habitation of the area did not begin with the arrival of the first Europeans, and that an aboriginal presence in the high country had existed in the Mount Hotham region for many thousands of years previously. This pre and post contact history of the traditional people and their cultural connection to the land is poorly recorded. The principal language groups in the Mount Hotham region included the Gunai Kurnai, Dhudoroa and the Jaitmathang. Aboriginal activity and occupation of the area would have largely been influenced by seasonal conditions. In the spring and summer months aboriginal people would have gathered in large numbers to exploit the fruit berries and Bogong moth, whilst in the winter the region would have largely been inhabitable.
The regions European post-contact history has also largely been influenced by its climate, topography and geology. These natural influences have provided the opportunities, as well as setting the limits on its historical development. The topography has determined it’s the regions form of rugged ranges and broad open plains, whilst its geology has also played a pivotal role in its natural distribution of gold deposits – which led largely led to a mining led exploration of this part of the Great Divide. The fertile basalt plains and cooler summer climate have offered favorable conditions for seasonal summer grazing. The elevation and climate allowed for the development of the ski field tourism. The history of the region has also been strongly influenced by strong-willed individuals, as well as political, economic and social influences.
The history of Hotham has been affected by influences from both sides of the range. Mount Hotham (1868m) is the fourth highest, point in Victoria, atop the solid barrier that that forms the spine of the Great Dividing Range. Both the Ovens Valley on the north and Gippsland to the south have played important influential roles in the history of the Mount Hotham region.
