Why Revelstoke?
Situated in the heart of the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains in British Columbia, the new Revelstoke Mountain Resort is an adventure skiers dream - epic Selkirk powder, miles of largely untouched terrain, killer runs and awesome vistas of the Columbia River Valley. No other resort in the world offers lift, cat, and heli skiing from one village area. By the winter of 2008/09, Revelstoke Mountain Resort will be home to the longest vertical ski trail in North America. Revelstoke also boasts typical annual snowfalls of 12 to 18 metres, 1,443 vertical metres of lift-serviced terrain; 1,500 acres of skiing; and 27 ski runs and 4 alpine bowls.
