Panorama has 4000 vertical feet of skiing; 2800 skiable acres - the 3rd largest vertical and 3rd largest acreage in Canada. Panorama also has some great tree skiing for the more adventurous. The ski area is perfect for many skiers as 75% of the runs are suitable for beginners or intermediates.  Think wide open groomers, winding down the fall-line from the summit right to the village base area or to the door of your condo. For black-diamond runs head to the Taynton Bowl. Previously a Heli-skiing tenure, the area is now within bounds, so the slopes are patrolled, avalanche controlled and no backcountry gear is needed. Warm up first as the 700 acre bowl is all black runs. It’s a great place to find powder stashes days after a dump.
