What makes Perisher accommodation so special is that you are almost always staying on snow and the experience of skiing right to your door every afternoon gives you a true alpine experience. Perisher’s accommodation options range from lodges, hotels to self contained apartments and chalets for more private lodgings with kitchen and laundry facilities. Many of the lodges and hotels are situated close by to lifts so you can wake up to fresh snow and be the first on the mountain if you are organised. Many of the lodges and hotels are situated in either Perisher Valley the central hub of Perisher or Smiggin Holes which is a perfect base for beginners and don’t forget Guthega with breathtaking views of the snow capped main range.
Getting To Perisher
Situated just 35km from Jindabyne you can choose to drive to the resort daily if you are staying off snow or catch the ski tube thus avoiding the possibility of driving in icy conditions. We recommend if you’re staying on snow to park at the Ski Tube for the easiest way to Perisher.
There’s no public overnight parking at Perisher so guests are advised to park at Bullocks Flat which is located 20km’s along the Alpine Way and to catch the Ski Tube which will bring you to Perisher Valley Terminal. From here over-snow transport can be arranged to your accommodation. Often lodges & chalets have their own transport service to the accommodation and you can always explore the mountain’s restaurants and Bars of an evening then catch an over-snow transfer back to your residence
