ski fernie

Why Fernie?
The mountain community of Fernie lies tucked away in a narrow valley in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Fernie boasts a world class ski mountain and legendary powder conditions with an average of 8.75cm snowfall. The ski area rises about 5km over the town of Fernie and you can see the massive bowls from Main Street and trails on the lower mountain which cut through dense forest. Fernie offers 7 on-mountain lodges and 28 bars and restaurants to entertain you into the wee hours. A regular shuttle service runs from Fernie to Lake Louise, Kimberley and Panorama. At Fernie - it’s steep, it’s deep and generally uncrowded.
